Robotics at Meetup

Lots of robotics at the December 2nd meetup. A rubics cube solver, a walking robot, conveyor belts and more. Doug had his CNC jog system as well.

Galatecha and Maker Pints!

I didn’t take very many at Galatecha but there were thousands of people I’m sure social media has tonnes. 🙂

Ottawa Robotics Meetup

Today we had a draw! The prizes and winners were:

  • Zen Glider (Phonesavanh)
  • Spinny Toy 1 (Lakota)
  • Spinny Toy 2 (Lakota)
  • Magnifier for Cell Phone (Nicolas)
  • Tickets to Galatecha.ca –facebook page (Lakota and Paul)

Phone brought her CNC machine and we managed to get it running! There was some talk about CNC and laser and seems people are interested in both. I said I was planning on doing a workshop on it and if people get in touch with me we could do it very soon.

There was some talk about stamp-making and I mentioned we were talking up a workshop right now in our online discussion (link on our main page).

Lots of robots and stuff (and discussion around it) as you can see by the pictures. This regular meetup includes the Ottawa Robotics Enthusiasts.
