Block Printing Workshop 3!

Bring your sketch pad and pens/pencils or computer. Which ever method you’d like to use to create your artwork.
As per popular request we will be doing multiple block prints! You can also do one larger than 7x7cm. You can decide if you’re doing this and the cost will depend on the size of your plates.
This workshop is two consecutive Mondays starting with the one listed as this event.
First Monday:
7pm: Arrive at 299 Bank, ring 613-563-3634 (or any other posted number) to enter.
7:01pm: Learn to use a brayer and try an existing stamp.
7:20pm: Brief presentation on the electronic process. You can use this process or just draw on paper.
7:40pm: It’s drawing time. Work on your image.
9pm: Submit your image by email or we can snap a picture of it.
Second Monday:
7pm: Your block shoudl be ready!
7:01-9pm: Testing your block and having fun.
Wednesday Between Mondays
6-8pm: Come to the open project night to see us cutting some of the blocks and learn more about the process.

In this workshop you will make a 7x7cm block! You will see a new method that can be used to carve blocks from various materials.
Take home your block and any prints you make with it!
